Believe it or not we have finally made it to the midway point of the year. We're 6 months into 2010 and we're 6 months away from 2011!

I really hope that winter is a thing of the past for all of us by now. Monday, June 21 is going to mark the first day of summer and summer should mean sun for most of us and I know in my house it will be most welcome, so long as it goes by very, very, very quickly.

Unfortunately June does not equal happiness in our family. It has now been 2 years since the loss of our first son, so I only ask that everyone spares a little thought or prayer for my sweet Emerson, and every other child that has lost his or her life far too soon.

And on a last note, if you have not noticed it by now, your current Community Director is an absolute Twilight addict. I really cannot begin to tell you how much, although if you've had a few conversations with me over the years I have been on SK you may have a small inkling of a clue. So of course it makes sense for a Twilight themed newsletter for the month a brand new Twilight movie hits theaters!

As always, as we usher in a new month we usher in a brand new month of babies to the Parenting forums. Congratulations to all of our "Born in May 2010" mommies!
