Scooting in their cribs

Is anyone else's baby scooting in their cribs at night, to the point where you find them at the opposite end of the crib in the morning??? This has been happening lately with Caleb, and today Bryan even found him turned in a 90 degree angle! The funny thing is, he's doing this while in his swaddle-I bet it's pretty funny to watch. Is this ok? Is it safe?
