My Dad's Christmas gift to my Mom

I called my parents yesterday once we were finishing opening gifts to tell them Merry Christmas, etc. My mom started to tell me what my Dad got her but was laughing so hard she could barely get it out. He got her a toilet bowl brush!!! LMAO! They built a house down the road from them and put both houses on the market and if the one they're in sells they'll move into the other one. Anyways she's always taking the brush from their house to the new one before anyone comes to see it so he thought it would come in handy...I guess that's my Dad for ya. He just does not do the whole shopping thing!

Buuuutttt....then she got all excited. He also got her a flight to come up for Landon's birthday party!!! We're not having it until the 5th (his bday is the 29th..Sat!) to give a little break inbetween Christmas and it and have our friends get home from vacation. It'll be a quick trip, but at least she'll be here for it! Landon is so in love with her and has such a good time with her. He'll bring me the phone and say, "Talk to G" which means he wants to call her. I'm just thrilled...some of you know I was upset about not being around family for the holidays and his bday but now my mom will be here for part of it all! She's coming up next Friday...yippie!!!
