This is a good review of Muttaquin Baby cloth diapers. The snap-type diapers do not really work well for me but the reviewer does a good job of pointing out the pros and cons of this type of diaper.

Like every wanna-be-green parent, I thought cloth diapers would be the way to keep horrible stuff out of landfills, be green, be kind, etc.

Let's face it, there's nothing like tossing a poo-filled diaper in the trash. It's done. But for cloth diapers, it's not so easy. Cleaning cloth diapers involves a "rinse-before-wash" scenario that can be...messy. Having said that, the new cloth diapers of today are very easy to use and clean.

We're off to visit the in-laws for a long weekend and I hope my daughter adjusts to the portable crib and doesn't scream all night.

I didn't have time to buy some special portable crib bedding but thought I would look! I just love this wild safari design. Since I KNOW my next baby is going to be a boy, it will work now and work again later...

I like to find a good thing and stick with it. One of my favorite places to shop for baby showers is babybedding.com. For one, all of their items are unique and made in the USA. That's huge for me. But another big point for me is that they have a huge selection of fabrics that can be matched with boys, baby...

I have had several pro-recycling "green" friends completely bail when it came to using cloth diapers. And, uh, I would have been one of them. The unfortunate fortune that I had was that my daughter quickly developed an allergy to disposables. So I began researching cloth diapers and am currently using about 10 different kinds.
