Suffering from colds throughout the winter is nothing new. We all get them and unfortunately, so do our little angels. It was a normal evening, Daddy-man and I are making dinner and Baby-man is busy being little chef when out of the corner of my eye I see Baby-man playing with the lazy Suzanne, obviously needed more spices.

Then he starts to whimper and cry. I look and he has his finger stuck between the door and the side of the lazy Suzanne, impatient like his parents he jerks his finger out, scraping it as he does and begins to howl. I pick him up, he’s not bleeding but he is crying pretty hard....

Many of the things I thought I knew as truths about babies have been shattered since having a little one of my own. How to get baby to sleep is one of them.

My brother recently announced that he and my sister-in-law are having their first baby. This is major news on so many levels. First, they have been together since I was 12 years old (over 17 years, umm hmm) and married over ten of those.
