Weight Loss
Last week was horrible. I craved bread things SO badly! I was miserable. Yes, we have had delicious food, but there's still something missing that just doesn't leave me satisfied. I did not, however, cheat! I did have one pre-planned piece of cake for my dd's eighth birthday. That's not cheating
She wanted a chocolate cake with peanut butter icing in the shape of an eight. So I spent a lot of time making two cakes, freezing them, cutting out the circles, mixing frosting and carefully...

Weight Loss
I lost another 3 pounds for a total of 10. I'm now at 150. My goal is 135. Once I get there I know I'll want to lose more, but that's the ultimate goal. Anything past that I'm calling my impossible goal
Oh, I miss bagels!!! I have made some delicious food... I should say WE. Dh is helping out so much. It's cool cooking, planning, shopping together. There's still something missing. I can live without cookies, but muffins, bagels...
I'm not quitting, though....

I'm not saying this is healthy, but here it is.
(Almost) Carb Free Chocolate Pudding:
20 oz unsweetened Silk soymilk (some carbs, no sugar)
2 scoops vanilla soy protein powder
4 T dutch cocoa
1/2 t pure stevia powder
4T whole husk psyllium
Mix in blender and chill in small dishes. I added sliced almonds to the top.
Sugar Free BBQ Baked Beans

Weight Loss
Yesterday (Sunday) was weigh in day. I lost 7 pounds in 7 days! I know it won't continue this way, but boy it felt great to see the drop.
I have much more energy and I'm not hungry during the day. That doesn't mean I don't still want to eat
That's the hardest part; not picking up a bite to eat, not eating a piece of chocolate after lunch and supper. I did make the pudding out of the soy protein shake. It was very good. I'll put the recipe up.
Today (Day 9)...

I have not cooked with stevia yet, but we've been using it to sweeten beverages for several years. Great if you're trying to give your family less sugar and also great if you're on a no carb diet.
Iced tea: To make a gallon of tea I use 6 tea bags in my 12 cup coffee pot basket just like I was making a pot of coffee. I dump that into a gallon pitcher then add water to equal a gallon. I actually use two 1/2 gallon jugs because it's easier to lift and easier to fit in the frige....
