We've got a fun trivia night coming up tonight, plus lots of other things going on. I was posting about favorite things, but lost track.

One thing everyone should look into is Angel Food Ministries [Link] They provide good food for families at a great price. There is no income limit, no particular church affiliation needed. There are new ones showing up in many areas, so look into it. We're picking up our order today.

Another thing I like...

I'm ready to downsize my job now. I've been going too many hours for too long, and I'm really just getting worn down.

On the kid front, K is loving preschool after a rough start. C is talking more and more every day.

Boy, has work been busy this summer. I have many updates, will get to them soon.

You can certainly tell that the Rock Star has an older sister, because here are her two favorite phrases. "NO! Dat MINE!" and "Mama! Sissy NO-NO! Sissy OW. MINE ball!"

Also, it's probably time to address her kleptomania. She will walk up to random strangers wherever we happen to be, grab their purse, put it over her shoulder, and run off. She also tries to take their shoes off their feet if they seem very attractive to her.

It would seem that the Rock Star is working on trying to talk as much as her older sister. This morning while I was making coffee, and she walked into the kitchen carrying "a shoe?" "Sissy's shoe?" And I said, "Yes, that's sissy's shoe." Then she did her sign for "flower" and I said "Yes, Sissy's shoe has a flower on it." I think that's how the language gets developed, you have to talk back to them and repeat what you think they're trying to...
