Hope he feels better soon....That is what Aynsley had when she was 5 weeks - that with RSV - so it scares me - keep an eye on him....the breathing thing is SO scary. Your Dr's visit sounds like the ones I had - numerous ones until she was very very ill, they figure that mums are overreacting BUT you know your child better than anyone.
It is a virus, so they can't do anything drug wise, but if he is retracting in his chest, or at his trachea, wheezing or struggling to breathe take him to Emergency. He is still little Breathing treatments may help if he isn;t getting any better. Depends on the Dr but doesn't hurt to ask.

How is he doing today?

Breathing treatments typically are some sort of steroid I think....it helps open up the airways. Never had one done with any of my kids, but my neice has had them as she was a preemie and her ped suggested it would help when she had a yucky cold. Also kids with Asthma are inclined to get it.

He dosen't get a fever anymore thank God. His doing much better. Sleeping heaps. He still has abit of a cough, and the funny things is, when he was sicker he was still such a happy baby. My poor little guy.

We dont do Breathing treatments here, Not that I know about anyway. But thanks for asking about him
