Progress!!
So I was getting a little down becuase I didn't feel that Nash was progressing very well. Everytime I put him on his stomach he didn't even push up on his hands and look up. Well today I tried again and place his hands where they should be and it totally clicked. He pushed up immediately! and then he pushed himself on his back. He did this everytime, he really hates being on his stomach!! I don't know if he is going to crawl, he might go right into walking.
When I put him on his feet, he does very well balancing himself and I even place him against a stool and he held himself up for a couple seconds. He just would much rather be upright instead of laying down like that. He's still not sitting up, though.
He has also been playing with his toys more and more, it's so cute and exciting to see him growing up!!!
He hasn't been to the dr. since he was 2 months, but we are going to our new pedi on Tues, so hopefully that will go well. I can't wait to see how much he weighs!

Re: Progress!!
I was feeling the same way, then BOOM Lily sat up for a few seconds!! Then the next day, longer, the next, longer and so on!!
I still put pillows on either side of her though, because she certainly is not steady yet!!!!
Lily has always done good on her tummy though. She has strong arms, i think. But, she HATES it!!! She yells when she wakes up b/c she gets sooooo mad that I've put her in her crib and left her!!!
Ahhhh
We are learning huh?
I feel jealous of you that you have Nash in his crib already!!!!!!

Re: Progress!!
So glad he is getting the hang of things. I didnt think Nadia would sit up at all because she loves to stand over anything else. But she did I too am amazed at how quickly these babies change and develop. Just the other day she couldnt hold her toys and now she picks them up and waves them around, flings them away etc. So amazing!

Re: Progress!!
Yay Nash!!
It is amazing watching them grow and learn. And funny how they each have their very own ways of doing things and timeframes.
I know what you mean about feeling like progress may have been a bit slow. It felt like everyone else had been lifting their heads up at tummy time like pros and Griffin took forever to master it. I was so proud when he just got it. Griffin isnt rolling yet (he is almost getting there and then flops back again lol) so Nash is a little ahead on that one.
Hope he likes his new dr.

Re: Progress!!
WTG NASH.
My son Joseph was that way. He never gradually worked into something it was more of a bing bang boom and managed to do it all at once. It is amazing of 4 kids they are so unique.

Re: Progress!!
yay Nash!! I wouldn't be worried at all, I think it's even kind of early for them to be sitting up on their own (libby was born in december, don't forget). i think they're growing up too quickly!!

Re: Progress!!
Oh and I wanted to add that Lily is not rolling over yet. She does it on accident occasionally.

Re: Progress!!
It's good for me to hear that not everyone's LO is doing everything speedy like too. Olivia is most certainly 'just' learning to roll herself over this past week. And she is no where near being able to sit unassisted.
Yea, yea, yea Nash for getting it! Seems Livi does things in spurts. Nothing, nothing, nothing, then wham... she's got it.
