Icon4 fighting feeds

so the last couple of days libby has been fighting her feedings a few times a day. usually the morning ones are fine but by afternoon/evening she fights it. she will drink a little, then refuse the rest. it doens't matter which bottle, which nipple, formula w/ and w/out rice cereal. i don't know if her reflux has just gotten so bad that she knows it hurts to eat or what.... we go to the dr. on friday so i will definitely ask about it while i'm there. i'm not yet worried about her becoming dehydrated but more so it's her distress while i'm trying to feed her. she will scream and scream and we know she's hungry, but then turns away from the bottle. sometimes if we wait awhile, we can get her to take some more.

soooo. sorry for going on and on but just wondering if any of you have ever experiences this w/your babies.

thanks for your help!!!

I am starting to notice Natalie does the same. She will only take 3 oz and normally she is close to 5 ozs especially in the afternoons. I am thinking that maybe the reflux is bothering her more and the zantac isn't working as well anymore. I am going to put a call into my ped in the morning, I have not been able to do a whole lot today except hold and comfort Natalie. I was in tears while I was making dinner, I am so stressed and tired today.

I would ask the dr. ASAP what to do.

AJ is also, but I am associating this with his teething. At night he feeds fine, well not night , but his first feeding after he he has slept for a while. He doesn't refuse it, at all. So I do not believe it is Acid reflux related. Let me know what your peds tell you. I am actually weaning AJ Off of his meds. We are down to 2x a day. As of May 1st I am dropping him to 1 in the middle of the day, by June 1st completely off he has not spit up in weeks!

Lilu's been doing the same, but her's is teething related. The only time she won't fight is if we have her laying down @ an angle... I know you're not supposed to do that, but nothing leaks ( she has the nickname Fatcakes for a reason ) & she'll take at least 5oz. She's been taking less here lately because she's been sick, but she's getting back to her old self

Well, I hold lily lying down on my lap for every feeding and she does fine. Sometimes she will spit the nipple out and/or roll it around on her tongue like she's fed up. I thought maybe it was the nipple size.
