Sorry I was gone so long! We spent the second half of April in Florida with my parents (including a side trip to Disney!), then a small trip to Virginia to visit some friends, and then Mother's Day! It has been a hectic month for us! I'm going to post some pics in the private forum.

Kyra goes for her 4 month check up tomorrow, and I'm guessing she's about 15 1/2 lbs. She's a chunky little peanut! We've also discovered she has a milk allergy, which means I can't have any dairy. I'm already a vegetarian, but it looks like I'll be vegan for the next few months while I'm still BFing. I'll give it a whirl, but if it's too hard I'm not opposed to FF. I just wanted to do the same for her as I did for James. I'm also starting back at work next week. Boo hoo! I would love some extra time! Actually, my boss offered me another 6 weeks (unpaid) but I can't do it. I really need to get back. I'm sure I'll love it once I'm there, but it's just the thought of being dog tired all the time that's giving me this pit in my stomach! (I work 12 hour night shifts) I'm hoping my supply doesn't dwindle either. I don't exactly get breaks, so finding time to pump twice may be a challenge.

Other than that, Kyra is doing really well. Her sleeping is a mystery to us. She'll either sleep through from about 8 to 5, or she'll wake up at 3am. It doesn't really matter what time we put her down. Those seem to be her two options! She was doing 3 naps (short, long, short) but this week it's turned into 2 long naps (2.5-4 hours each). Her big brother is still so loving and making me so proud! He had the time of his life (all 2 1/2 years of it!) at Disney. He's still talking about it! People say he's too young to enjoy it, but if they could only see the look on his face for 2 days straight, I think they'd change their minds!

I'm going to Disney this summer with my WHOLE family this summer. That should be fun! Hahaha! Glad you enjoyed your vacation. I know how you feel about going back to work, though. It was really hard for me but once I got here it was nice to have somewhat of a break. Good luck!

I think Lily has a milk allergy, too. I hope it's an easy transition to a Vegan diet for you both!!! Glad you had fun and can't wait to see some of those pics!

also, kudos to you for going vegan!! there's no way i could have done that, i would have been one grumpy starving mom!!! haha. that's one reason why we had to put libby on nutramigen :-(

Glad all is well. How did Kyra do on the beach? We are leaving in two weeks to go to Gulf Shores and I am wondering how Presley will do in the sand and sun.
