I was so happy when Kaitlyn no longer cared about her pacifier. At first I thought it was cute when she sucked her thumb but now it seems she only sucks her right thumb and it is getting a little sore on it from all the sucking. I am wondering if there is anything safe I could use to discourage her from sucking it. I try to take it out of her mouth but she just keeps putting it back in . She does it whenever she is tired or being shy I would not worry that much about it right now except her thumb looks sore. Maybe it would be better to give her paci back get her used to that then at least I can take that away from her I can't take her thumb away . Hopefully she will not take after me I admit I sucked my thumb at night till the braces came on in 5th grade and I only quit then because my dad said my braces were so expensive if he saw me sucking my thumb her would just knock out all my teeth .my dad always had such a loving way of putting things into perspective ha ha but thats a whole other post.
