Have a clean and fresh-smelling kitchen. Here's how:

Run a lemon (cut into wedges) through the garbage disposal. Simmer cinnamon sticks, nutmeg and/or cloves in a pan of water to scent the air. Make sure your sponges are sparking clean by rinsing them with bleach, running them through the dishwasher, or tossing them into the microwave for a minute.

Can you really put your sponges in the microwave?

yes you can put them in the microwave. It kills all the germs. Boiling cloves makes the whole house smell great.
