need eye shadow application advice

I'm suddenly finding my eyelids rather dry and showing age. Dry eye shadow makes this worse but I love the blending with dry shadows.

I know some people get that moist look and blending and I don't know how or what products they are using.

Could use some advice for 40 something eyes.

you want an eyegloss. it's eyeshadow but it's creamy or glossy so you get that wet look you're going for, minus the dry eye lids

Do you use moisturizer before you apply your makeup? If you don't want to forsake the look of well blended dry shadow, you can try treating your skin with a moisturizer before applying the makeup.
