Have you guys by chance considered redoing the layout of the stuff surrounding the bulletin board? With so much stuff on either side, and the smaller text, it makes all the bulletin board part look and feel really squished. Maybe by using dropdown menus for each category you could allow more room for the board itself? Just something to consider.

And not one to criticize without also pointing out the good..Thank you thank you thank you for going to VBulletin!!!!!! I am a huge fan of the software myself, way more functionality than certain other boards, and gosh knows it leaves Ezboard in the dust for darn near everything. Job well done!!!!

I completely agree!! The actual board itself is very squished and it is very distracting to have so much stuff around it. I think that's one reason I am having a hard time w/ load-time!! I would love if the board was seperate from the rest of the site...drop down menus and banners would be fine!!

well, i'm not loving it, sorry. it takes about 10x longer to load than ez board. i can check several posts on those forums while waiting for one to even open here. could what the others mentioned be the problem?

They are having some server issues right now.....and will add more servers to make the pages load faster if needed.

With such a big move, there are going to be some gliches. Be patient and all will be worked out.

As for being squishy......I agree. Theres a LOT of text on the page.....maybe too much?
