And he had a...
Miserable time! He was happy and enjoying it when we arrived but that all ended as soon as people started cheering and clapping! He got so scared! He cried and cried. He'd calm down if there were no fan outbursts but if there were the cycle would start all over again. He liked our walks to the gift shop and his nursing session in the guest relation' office. he got a bit better by the end of the game because he was flirting with people behind us. However, it didn't last. He still got scared with all the cheering at the very end.
On one hand it was very sad. But, on the other it was pretty funny.

We'll get some kicks out of this for a long time to come.
The bummer is that we have an 8th of a share of season tickets so ds was going to be spending a lot of time at games this summer. I guess instead I'll be doing a lot of pumping so he doesn't have to go!
Ds1 went to a bunch of minor league games when he was a tiny baby and he just slept through them. When he got a bit older he totally enjoyed them. I guess they are 2 different little boys (and there is a difference btw major league and minor league games

).
We'll try again a few times more, I'm sure. He's free. Oh, and don't worry, our seats are right behind home plate so the net is there to catch any fly balls. Nice and safe. Most of the time.
We found out last week that he doesn't like amusement parks either. Loud noises scare him. This will be a lonnnnggg summer!
