I posted a couple of weeks ago on the private board about some complications I was having with the Mirena IUD. I finally saw my doc today and he was quite shocked that I waited 3 months to come see him. He said it needed to come out immediately even though my bleeding finally stopped a few days ago (i've been bleeding everyday for 3 months straight). The lower back pain, weight gain, cramps, and headaches are not normal side effects. He also thought that I possibly had an infection from the IUD so he gave me some antibiotics. Hopefully the back pain will start to go away because I feel pretty crappy right now

Anyways, now I have to make a difficult decision about which method of birth control to use. I've had problems with the patch & pills so my last option is getting a tubal. My doc said he could schedule my surgery in about a month. My doc is furious with my DH that he wont get a Vasectomy.

Anyways, I'm not in the best mood right now. I feel frustrated that I had problems with it. I really wanted the IUD to work out.
