Default crying herself to sleep....

question to mommies who does not let the baby cry it out......
I did not let Brandon cry all by himself. Maybe up to couple minutes, but that's all.. I usually picked him up right away.

With Mayu, I have Brandon to take care of, and I live in my MIL's house so I can not let the house go under control, so I have to clean... and I've been trying to sell things, and save money by doing some researching etc.... so I can not tend her right away.

When Mayu was screaming another day, I asked my husband what do I do... then he said just put her down to scream and rest for little bit, so I put her down in her crib while I was talking to him. When I was done talking to my husband and went to check on her, she was asleep. She cried herself to sleep... it was maybe about 5 minutes she was left there alone. She was fed, changed, and burped.

Then today, my MIL came home and gave me a task to do, then took Brandon for a walk. I fed her, changed her, burped her, and she was fussying... but I had to take care of the task and wanted to do it before my MIL came home, so I put her in the swing to take care of the task, she was fussing, but when I got done with the task, she was calm in the swing. I think she might be sleeping now. It took about maybe 8 minutes or so.

I feel bad for her though... I did not let Brandon cry all byhimself....
how do you feel about it?
