Well Erin was perfectly adorable and SO well behaved. I couldn't believe it. I thought she was going to start crying when the fire trucks went by, she just started dancing.

All of the babies line up and get judged. Then they hand out ribbons and we join the parade towards the end of it. It was really cute. One of the entries in the stroller category was HILARIOUS. It was a giant piece of pie and the baby was the dollop of whipped cream on top.

Erin won 3rd place - but dominated the popular vote. (of course) All of these people came and took picture of her. She was in her glory. The float that got second place was awesome, it was a giant navy boat and the kid was a sailor and the dad was a in his navy outfit. But the kid that won was a cool costume but not very 4th of July-ish, he was a star wars guy, I think it was a Halloween getup. I'm not bitter, am I??? It was really fun and Erin looked hysterical and had a great time. My hubby and IL's think my Mom, Sis & I are all totally nuts.
