Well Sarah as many kids do, hates the dentist, she had a pretty tramatic expierence with them one time a year or so ago when she had multiple cavities and she wouldnt take shots so we had to put her under concious sedation and that was freaky.
Anyways she goes in 2 weeks ago for her checkup, all was great, no cavities or anything BUT her adult teeth (bottom front 2) were right at the gumline ready to pop on through however her baby teeth were no where close to being loose!
So her dentist said "if" her adult teeth come through, they will come through behind her baby teeth and then would have to be taken out. Well guess what? YEP! Her adult tooth on the left came through and from the back, like she said.......So............She is going in today in like less than an hour from now to remove her 2 bottom teeth so her adult teeth wont be all jacked up and in the wrong position......ahhhh wish me luck PLEASE!! Her dentist gave her 5mg of Valium to take prior to her appt, which she took already (holding her down with force to take it) and they will do laughing gas on her as well.....So hopefully it goes okay....I will let you all know when I return how it went! I just know her so well and she will freak. But I told her that the tooth fairy is going to come by tonight and give her a sweet surprise and that when she goes to school tomorrow she will have something very cool to share to her friends. She feels better but I know once she sees that needle, all he** will break loose! She knows too, that she is getting shots.
