O/T: How Do I...

...find homes that are in foreclosure? Is there a government web site I need to pay attention to, or do I need to go to dockets in that county?

I'm trying to find out if a family member's home has been foreclosed on and while I have found one site that says it has, I want to find a credible, reliable, LEGAL source. Everything I have googled asks me to submit to a free trial...
