Icon11 Anyone have experience with this?

There is a distinct possiblity no one will have any clue what I'm talking about, so some background...

My husband works for a productions company as a sound engineer. He has been three and a half hours away all week doing a show called Impact World Tour (see website here: Impact World Tour). Apparently it has been going really well, and IWT is very impressed with my husband's company (called Artech) and the job that they have been doing there. IWT stated before that they would like Artech to put in a quote to go on a seven week tour with them through Ohio starting next October. I just spoke with DH, and since Artech has done such a good job this weekend, IWT has told them that they don't have to bother with a quote, they want them to do the tour.

Now DH wants to go. He's trying to convince me that I can come too and bring Reuben.

The way I look at it, there are two options: A)DH goes on tour for seven weeks, and I come along with Reuben, who will at that point be one years old, and probably rather mobile. B)DH goes on tour for seven weeks, and I stay at home with Reuben, alone.

Does anyone have any experience with either option? As in, has anyone tried to take a one year old (or any toddler) on a tour? Or has anyone had to do the single mom thing while their husband went off to work somewhere? I can see pros and cons with both options, and I just don't know what to think. I REALLY wish that this opportunity hadn't even come up, because I know how much DH really wants to be able to go, but I feel like it is such bad timing for us and our family.

Well, even if no one has advice, it feels good to vent...thanks ladies!
