Default Job Interveiw

I have a job interveiw on Wed. I am so nervous I havent had a job in 10 years since my DD. I am very conflicted about going back to work it is 30 hours but a demanding job. I dont know if I am ready to leave Gus who is only 19 months. I know I need to start doing something espeacially now since I am alone and single and home all day but I was thinking it would be a fun job for 10 hours a week or so starting in Sept once summer was over and my DD back in school.

Good luck in your interview!

Being a working mommy is so hard, I'm not going to lie!! But it makes the time with your kids so much more special! I've been back full time since Tracen was four weeks old and had been working from home before that (I have a very demanding job that I can't really take a vacation from or even maternity leave!). Tracen LOVES his daycare and I have financial security for us independent of his father, which has been a blessing now! I never have really gotten over the guilt which seems to follow to and from the office, but honestly I don't know if there is a way around it. I'll always wish my house was cleaner and always want more time with Tracen and always worry about my clients when I have to stay home with a sick child, and on and on. But, you just do what you gotta do! It'll certainly be an adjustment but you guys will get into a routine and everyone will be fine! And, if it doesn't work, it doesn't work, no problem! What's meant to be, will be (that's been my mantra for the last couple of months!)!!

Kinda went off there!! Sorry!! Anyway, good luck!! You'll do great!

Good Luck! I've always been a working mom....once you get a schedule down its not so bad. I am rushing around after work getting the kids to and from practises and games..getting homework done and everyone fed...but its all worth it at the end of the day.

Thanks girls. I think I am ready for my own independence and this will help. If this job doesnt work out I think I am going to continue to look. Being home and single isnt the same as it was when my husband lived here. I dont have any grown ups to talk to most of the time. I am excited for a new stage of my life.
