Jacqui - That is so great you got to see the baby! Isn't it exciting and it does make it so real too! We also live in MA. We are in the Boston area.

Tasha - We also used the California Cryobank and we absolutely loved them! I also like the fact that they limited the amount of families allowed to have babies from the same donor.

Laura - We tried the same thing and used a donor with similar characteristics as DW as well as the same ethniticity of the 2 of us and our son looks totally like me! He even got the light hair and blue eyes where the donor had dark hair & brown eyes which usually dominates.

So I had my nuchal ultrasound on Mon which went great! Baby A was very content and was just hanging out and waving whereas Baby B just kept flipping over front to back! The tech said the measurements of the fold of the necks were normal so that looks really good. Now back to the OB on 04/08.

jacqui- congrats on getting to see the little one remember the first time I got to see little Katie on US it was so amazing

Dawn- I finally got to see the new pics very nice Olivia is just so cute.

Tasha- we also used CCB California Cryobank we chose an Unknown donor but he is willing to be contacted to see how he feels about it 18 years from now. we have a baby photo and a voice recording we selected features similar to DP but with blue eyes because I have blue eyes and wanted my child to have blue eyes. I know she has his ears but most other features are mine. I know she has siblings a little girl just born in Feb and 2 on the way found out from the general essage board but when I signed up for the sibling registry no one is listed yet and I know there is others because he had a pregnancy before I used him. but I will just check it once in awhile to see it might be interesting to see what some of the other children look like.

Jen, Have you checked out the donorsiblingregistry.com to see if your donor has any listings there? There are more listing on that web page than the official one through the sperm bank. I can't find info on the sperm bank limiting the number of families. How many do they cap it at and where does it say that?

Ok... it is 10:50 and Kathy and Olivia are asleep in the recliner, so I am stealing some time to get on and read! Woo hoo!

Today has been a VERY trying day. My milk supply has taken a dip and we are furiously feeding and pumping trying to get it back up. I have literally done nothing except feed the baby or pump today. It got so ridiculous that Kathy actually came home early from work because I sounded so stressed on the phone. It was nice to have her here this afternoon. Olivia has been crying A LOT today which is just heartbreaking. She is usually a pretty "chill" baby, so I don't know what was up today.

Jen- Glad to see you, I was wondering about you on Monday.

A - Sorry you are back at work. I am sure you are exhausted! I commend you on your commitment to your kiddos, though! They are so cute! I am sure Lachlan's head will be fine.

Laura - Thanks re: the pics. I know that we will really enjoy having those pics of the whole clan together. There were many tears shed when they left on Saturday... we already miss them so much. Greg even teared up when leaving. (We think she is pretty cute, but then, maybe our opinions don't count... hehe)

Care - So sorry to hear about Harper's hospital stay... that must have been scary. Good luck with the continued sleeping changes!

Jacqui - Welcome and congrats! That first appointment where you get to see the baby is soo cool... makes it so much more real.

Tasha - Welcome as well. I did the same thing when we were TTC.... hehe I will send positive thoughts your way.
