Well, snow day today for DP!!! She's kind of ticked, but I'm kind of glad. I'll have an extra day left for the end of the school year now- just in case I get sick. We got about 6 inches last night which isn't a huge deal (I grew up partly in Minnesota so this is nothing!) but around here you'd think it's the end of the world.

Hey care...thanks for opening a new tread, I kept meaning to do it and kept forgetting.

We will loive in Tampa, and Julie's mom will proabably move near us. She LOVES her grandchildren and wants to be as close as possible We did finally sell our other house and the market here in Austin is not bad so hopefully this house will sell pretty fast. Julie will rent an apartment in Tampa till this house sells then we will look for a house. I am going to stay with her mom with the girls. Its only a 2 hour drive from Tampa to Orlando so we will go back and forth alot I am sure. AND YES, we do still have some boxes that have not been unpacked yet!

Have a happy snow day!

Ok... I missed alot.

First of all work is NUTS NUTS NUTS for me right now. I have been telling them that I will be out no later than March 10th, but it's like they didn't GET it. Everyone is FREAKING out that I won't be here in a month. OY!

Care (et al) - thanks for the diaper bag advice. I appreciate all the information. Seems like your health is good and glad you are off.... dp too for the snow!

Adoption Information - we have been sort of ignoring that we need to take care of this... which is nothing less than stupid. I need to find out how this happens here in Texas. We do have a legal resource especially for g/l that is very price reduced, so I will start there I guess.

Laura - sorry that your dp isn't dialated, I know she must be uncomfortable. Monday is very exciting!! Good luck! (e-mail or pm me if you want me to post anything on Monday!!!!)

I bet I left some other stuff out... sorry guys.

I am off to a co-worker's baby shower in about an hour... that will be fun. She is due April 9th and it has been really fun chatting with her about pregnancy!

Next week is the first of my weekly appointments with my OB... it seems soooooo close now. AHHH! We have our (hopefully) final perinatologist appointment the same day. Breastfeeding class on Monday. Then, we have our "how to install your carseat training and inspection doo dah" some day this week, I can't even remember when. Our hospital not only requires that you have your carseat, but also that you have attended (and passed) this training/inspection thing. I don't mind doing it as I want Olivia to be safe, but the appointment times STINK... they are ALLL during the day. So... more missed work. OY! Whew... another "baby" week.

Patty- I'm glad your house in Orlando sold and that the market looks good in Austin. I know that will likely be a big relief if everything goes smoothly! Did Julie officially get the offer yet?

Dawn- Sorry work is sooo hectic! Getting things together before you leave is always sooo difficult. Enjoy!

The weekly appointments are kind of a pain. It seems like between that and the BPPs that I'm always at the doctor. It was nice today to have nowhere to go for the first time! I only have 2 more official OB appointments though which is kind of nice. I know I'll have another BPP and probably one more growth u/s so I'm sure they'll keep me busy. I also have to go to the dentist next week! I'm sure that will be comfortable.

Today's the only day I haven't gotten anything off my list done! I think having DP home has really thrown my routine off! I better get on that. There are only a couple more big things to do.

No she should have it Monday. They were apparntly trying to get the offer as good as they could get it before giving it to her so there would not be any back and forth. We did find out though that they offer $5000 adoption assistance per child so that is even better then dell. We will have to see what happens...

The girls are starting to knowtice each other, it is SOOO cute. They never do it at the same time as of yet, but one will just be staring at the other. Sometimes smiling and most times just staring.

Hey guys! Sorry it's been so long since I've written. Things are so hectic these days and I seem to have limited time to do stuff other than baby care. I have had to deal with trying to get my little guy and gal on my insurance and I think the HR woman is telling me the wrong information and will basically double the amt I have to pay each pay period, so I have had to deal with that. The problem is that every lesbian I know at work has a different situation so they don't know the answer to my questions either.

I wish we were at the point of filing for adoption for my DP but things have been too crazed to do it. I really wish we had done more before the babies were born but I feel like we got bad advice from the lawyer we spoke with, unfortunately.

Laura, I can't believe Carolyn's induction is Monday! Wow, you are going to be mommas soon!

Everyone else is getting so close, too. It's great! I will try to be better about writing, but I can't promise much these days! DP goes back to work on Sunday, so my mom is coming back to town. I am so scared about taking care of the babies alone, especially since DP will be gone at the time of day the babies tend to cry the most. Trying to deal with two crying babies at once is awful and it breaks my heart to have even one of them crying. Sometimes I just don't have enough hands to keep them both from crying.

A- Don't apologize for not being able to post! I can only imagine how difficult the first month is of baby care!

I'm sorry you are having trouble getting them on your insurance. My school district assured me that this is not a problem whatsoever. Luckily, DP and I have board paid insurance (meaning we pay nothing) so we'll just have to add children. And it doesn't matter if you have 1 or 10 kids you pay the same amount for "children" so there won't be that much of an expense to put on two. I'm not doing dental or vision for now b/c our enrollment period is in August so I can add them to that then if I want to.

I'm really afraid about the babies coming home as well. DP will only take a day or 2 off because she's taking her leave after mine so we'll get paid the whole time. My mom just started a job in January so she won't be much help either. DP's mom is 74 and doesn't like to be out of her own routine (of soap operas and newspaper reading!) so I can't count on that either. All of my friends (except for one with 11 mo. twins!!) work full time so they can't help either. DP said we will somehow get help if we need it, but hopefully I can handle it. I'm not the best at handling stress- I can't imagine what I'll be like with no sleep either!!
