hello everyone, i just wanted to say hi, and let everyone know where we are. We will be finishing up our pre training classes for county adoption march 16th and then our homestudies will start soon after, our class of couples is so nice and we also seem to get along, i love it. we also all have alot of question and concerns that are the same which is nice to talk to someone who is in the same boat as you, anyway our instructor is also very nice and is very into helping us. all seems to be going better around here.

If you have heard already about the situation with my sis, i also wanted to update you that i did try to make an attempt to make amends although i do not think that it was my fault i did write to her trying to move on unfortunitley she has not responded so we are still not talking.

Hope all is good for you all
How are your adoption stories coming along.

Erin,
That is wonderful that classes are going to so good. I know we formed so good bonds with a few people from our adoption classes and it has beend fun to go through the journey together and be able to say whatever we felt at the time and they got it. March 16th will be here before you know it!!

I'm glad to hear your tried to make amends with your sister, I know that must have been very hard. I hope that with time everything will work out. I imagine she may need a little while because I bet she feels a little embarrassed and ashamed.

I'm glad your classes are going so well! We really loved ours too. We were of the variety of people that wished the classes had gone on longer.

Congratulations on trying to make amends with your sister. You know you have done the right thing. She will come around eventually. Do you get to hear how Jackson is doing at least?

That' great...I just finished mine last Tuesday and just waiting to get my homestudy done

Marian, I felt the same way...I want it to keep going, I had learned a lot about the kids on the system and how to be better for them , and beside now I don't have anything to do beside waiting for the homestudy...so let the waiting game start

I am new to this board. I am so excited to find it! My husband and I are currently pursuing an adoption from China. We have been in the process for over 2 years. It took us 8 months of paper work, then we were "logged in" September of 2006. We are hoping that we will get a referral by the end of the year. Unlikely, but hopeful! So we wait, and wait. This has been the pregnancy of an elephant!
