Icon7 WL - Thread

Ok LADIES, It is MONDAY morning and the begining of the weight loss missions.

For me I am going to try and increase my activity and do weight watchers.

So far it is 9:20am and I already ate a half a slice of cold white pizza. Yeah, way to kick the day off Kristine. I promise to do better from here on.

I bought carrots and tomatos and cucumbers to munch on during the day.

Tonights dinner will be chicken, salad and green beans.

Join in, tell me how it is going for you!

I need to lose about 30 lbs to get at my fighting weight...LOL!

I am really watching what I eat and using our basement as a gym. I have everything I need, just been too lazy to do it.

I plan on exercising 30 minutes a day 5 days a week.

Wish us luck!

Ok...my diet seems to be working but it's a little out there. It's been to cold to go out and exercise and there really isn't room in the house. Plus trying to find a sitter for Zach is next to impossible. Other then eatting pb&j my diet conisits of fast food and chocolate covered cherries. (I know diet of champs)

I promise to try harder. I just need a lttle more time. Actually I have a fridge full of healthy food but it's been so crazy that I'm not home to eat it. And I've been so stressed that I needed the chocolate. IOne the snow melts enough and it's a little warmer I think that I'll start walking again. I had been walking about 4 miles a day till the snow hit. Great exercixe, good stress relief and Zach would actually nap.

Jenni- you really sound like your on the ball here. my goal is to walk like you, i can do it but I would want to wait until l gets home and by then it is dark, i might just have to walk alone.

Right now we are just walking the stores as we look for new furniture. (that counts right? )

So dinner was good last night we had chicken with greenbeans, beets and sweet potato fries. No wine.
We love our wine we usually have two glasses a night so we are going cut the wine out sunday through thursday that should help a little.

Today, I am starting off on the right foot and having black coffee and I'll spend my day running up and down the basement stairs as i move the home office to the basement. Hey, I can call it exercise if I want to.

We'll probably have some kind of fish for dinner, I enjoy fish alot but it seems like the only time I eat it is when I'm dieting.

Oh and I found these 100 calerie chocolate covered pretzels they come two in a pack and it seems to hit my chocolate craving right on the head so I'll keep with those for a little while.

Wow, everyone is starting off on the right foot! WTG!

I started creating a menu for dinner at night. Meat, potato and vegetable. My kids really got into it as I let them pick out their favorite meals. I hope that this does 3 things for our family:
1. Eat out way less so we save more money towards our adoption.
2. Have a concrete grocery list so I don't wander the grocery store and walk out with stuff I end up throwing away anyhow.
3. Create healthy meals so we can all be healthier at our house.

I hope I didn't bite off more than I can chew, but day 3, it seems to be going okay. My daughter looked at the menu on the fridge today and said "Yay! Sloppy Joes tonight~"

I exercised 30 minutes yesterday and that felt good. I will try and do a little more each week. I love to walk but the high today is 7 degrees and I won't go out and walk unless it is about 40 or so.

My big "issue" is my latte every morning. I have gone to skim milk and sugar free syrups so I don't feel as guilty.

Let's keep it going!~!

I just started Weight Watchers (again) I seemed to have gained 40 lbs in the last 4 years. Makes since ,10 lbs after each loss. I always told myslef I would loose it after I had another baby but now I have no excuse. I want if off darn it!

SO.....I have to get it off before we travel and since that could be in 4 months or 8 I need to get moving. I know WW works cuz I lost 40 lbs after I had Levi.

Good luck everyone! We can do it!
