Wednesday WOWS!

Thought maybe we needed a fun thread to get through the rest of the week.

What is one thing that made you go WOW this week!

I'll start......

One thing that made me go WOW this week is the weather. 65 one day and 4 inches of snow the next. I just want spring to come!!

My wow this week actually accord yesterday.

My grandma (mom-mom) is staying close by to take care of me so i went to see her yesterday and I brought my sewing maching. I have not done any sewing since I was in like the 6th grade, anyway she showed me how to tread and all that good stuff and then I cut up some tread and sew'd a little purse and a cell phone cover.

Go ME!!!

My second wow- is I am loving how nice the yard is looking this year, we have alot of rain and all my flowers are starting to bloom and just look real pretty.

Hannah took her first unassisted steps this morning - and the best it was to come to me!!!! I so love milestones!!!! I'm guessing Jacob will be stepping within the week! Go twin Power!

My WOW this week is that dh finally convinced me that it's ok if I take some time for myself and enjoy a couple of hours away from home. So this weekend I'm spending some time with my sis going shopping maybe watch a movie!

My WOW for this week came yesterday morning when I noticed a rhododendron bud peaking through the snow. I couldn't believe it was not only growing, but, also budding when still covered with snow!

Since this is also my first post on this forum I should probably also introduce myself. I've been reading through some of the threads and you seem like a great group.

My DW and I have been TTC for 4.5 years. All of the testing says that we should both be able to get pg, but it hasn't happened. Over the last year I've been looking at adoption as well and trying to get a handle on what I want.

What I've learned is that adoption and having a biological child seem like completely different things to me. I'd ideally like to do both--have a biological child now and adopt an older sibling group in a couple of years. Hmmn...more thinking needed, no doubt.

Anyway, I hope it's okay for me to join you.

to the group! I'm glad you joined us. Jump in anywhere and everywhere. This is a really fantastic, supportive group. Hope you love it here.

My WOW this week was that DH actually made his own commitment to our marriage and made his own appointment to go to counseling. I started going a few weeks ago, but he wouldn't go and said he didn't need to. I was of course very disheartened by that. But, somehow, after lots of praying and hoping, he managed to take his own steps toward changing and saving our relationship.

M~ wow, I didn't realize things were not good. I am sorry about that.

This is my second marriage. I never want to relive my divorce years. YUCK!

Glad your DH decided to join you in counseling.

My other WOW this week is truly realizing that even though my DH and I have been through so much, it could be so much worse. I have been living a "whoa is me" kind of pity party watching all these people that got married after us having one then another baby and it just broke my heart and it was really hard to be happy for them. Finally, I think I can be. Life isn't just about babies, however that is what I have let it become. I kind of missed the beautiful scenery for a while and I am ready to step back and smell the roses.
Corny, Yeah...I know.

hematite153- Welcome to the board

I've had two WOWs this week. The first being Zach maybe behind but he is pulling up (not very stable and we are falling left and right, but just the same. We are doing it!!!) I am hoping that he waits a little while to start walking. At least till he figures out how to stand flat footed. The second being that dh finally sees what is really happening with Cass and that he is will to due what is best for everyone. He is no longer blinded by her manipulation.
