Well for the most part I think things went well and L and I stayed very calm, cool and collected.

We meet with the director for about 45 minutes to hour. We had made up a timeline of the things that have went wrong and asked for explanations and she explained what happened each time and how they have done things to make some of those mistakes a little less likely of happening again.

We had a list of things that we love about our agency so I think it was good for her to hear that there are things that they do just wonderful and it was good for us to remind ourselves that they aren't all bad.

Finally we had a list of questions about the process and she gave us a lot of information so i feel really informed now about it all. I am so glad we went there to talk to them. Of course L and I cried when it came time to discuss having to turn down that first referral and we decided that we are going to wait a couple of months for the next referral, we realized we just are not ready for a new referral yet because we are still morning the loss of the first one.

The director I think was really happy that we came to the decision so it looks like we will be back on the list for at the minimum of a month or at most 3 months and we are ok with that.

Thank you all for sending such positive thoughts our way we needed them and they truly helped us stay focused! At the end we all hugged and agreed to talk again soon.
