I spoke to bm a little while ago.

And I'm not sure I know any more now than I did before.....Basically without me asking she spilled everything that's happened to her in the last few months. I was shocked that she just blurted everything out like that, but I just listened and tried to support her. Because no matter what happens she needs to take care of herself and her children first and foremost. She did say she is still planning on placing the baby up for adoption, and she will keep me in mind and that she has my home number and will call me. She did say she needs to settle into where she's staying, enroll her son in a new school (that's what she was doing today) and file legal papers so her ex can't just take her daughter (he has threatened to just take her-long story.)

So now I just let her do what she has to do and hope for the best. I'm not sure how it went. I mean I can usually tell but today I am bummed out. I don't know if it's the phone call, or something else. Just in a rotten mood altogether. ????

So that's it. I'm more confused than ever, I hope I hear from her soon. Maybe I feel like this cause I'm not having a good day anyway and this is such an emotional subject. Ya think?

Hey-
Big hugs. From my experience talking with the birthmom, they are very non-commital about anything until they have to make a decision. This BM has a long way before her due date, so she probably has lots of stuff spinning in her head.

I'd be bummed after hearing all of this bmom's difficulties too.

with Nicole, she's a long way off yet so she's not going to be very positive about anything right now.

Angie, try to be patient, it's great that you let her unload on you though, at least she knows you care about what she's going through. That will be a great benifet for you in the long run!

You hang in there, I know this feels like the worst wait of your life and you know what it probably so you can expect good days and bad days so don't be so hard on yourself. You are a good person and you will be a mama some day soon!
