Trying not to buy stuff.....

I was at Target today. I could have walked out of there with a few hundred dollars worth of stuff. Instead I bought the cleaning supplies I needed and didn't buy any baby stuff. BUT I WANNA!!!!!!!

I just don't want to jinx myself. Anyone else feel this way??

Oh my gosh!!! We tend to just close our eyes when we know we are approaching the baby section because we can justify just about any purchase. I know exactly what your talking about in fact it is a good thing we haven't purchased because I would probably have a crib set for every day of the year.

We have made one purchase and it is the cutest little winter outfit but the reality is we'll probably have a spring baby so I'm not sure they will even get to wear it. hahaha Our friends have over loaded us with strollers, cribs, sheets, toys, pack and plays and some clothes. Infact I have started lending some of the stuff out to people because it was getting to be over whelming all the crap in the basement.

I know what you mean! And if you think the urge is bad now, just wait til' that baby shows up!

DH is always telling me stuff like, "Ya know, a person doesn't really need eight diaper bags..." But, I do! I really do!

We put our house on the market when we had three babies in the house... just because we needed a bigger house for all the baby stuff!

But, it's part of the joy of it all. I can't wait until you just get to go spend, spend, spend.

I can't wait till our boy comes home. That will give me free reign to spend!!! I know I need things for him, but we have bought stuff before for baby only to lose the pregnancy or the program to shut down. I just don't want to jinx it. I feel like I will if I buy anything. Now....anyone else is welcome to buy stuff. I just sent my MIL an email about some stuff on the dollar rack at Target....LOL!

I just can't help myself sometimes

Yes I have been known to buy little outfits but I have been telling myself that if we don't need them we can give them to our nephew and his girlfriend who are having a baby in May and need all the help they can get.

My problem is we are asking for boy or girl 6 months- 24months for one child or siblings 6 month -36months. So that is a huge age range and we only have so many unisex outfits from when Levi was little. If we get a little girl/s they'll be wearing a lot of grey/greens and reds

Girls can wear anything. It's the boys in pink that hardly works very well.

In our circle of friends we have 6 girls and 2 boys and all our friends even though they know we are expecting a boy referral still give us all the girl stuff. So our little one will be sportin a leopard print stroller and lord knows what other femine things.
