So this has been a really interesting week around our house.

We found out we have a peeping tom. The last couple of days we had some odd things going in our side yard and last evening we put it all together.

It started out when we found our gate open and then we noticed our neighbors picnic bench was under our front bedroom window then we moved that back to her porch and the next night they took a flower pot that sits outside of my backdoor inside the fence to the outside of the fence and flipped it upside down under my bedroom window to look in.

So we called the police last night and talked to all of our neighbors and then we set really big rat traps on the window ledges and put lose dirt under our windows so if they stepped there we could get a foot print. We taped all our shades shut and today we are having a spot light installed on the side of the house and brinks is coming out to make sure our system is up to date.

Ok I know this all seems a little over board but one we watch to many episodes of CSI and two we did have a rapist in the area about 2 weeks ago and I'm not sure the guy has been caught yet.

Poor Lu was up all night long tossing a turning, I crashed around midnight I can imagine we'll be having some sleepless night the next couple of days.

Oh my gosh that is so scary. I'm glad you are taking all these steps to stop whoever is doing this. You never know these days what a person might try. I don't blame you for being extra cautious. I would be too!

Auuuuuuugggggggghhhhhhhhh!!!! I'd be so scared! Sheesh. I hate it when people go mental and do stuff like Peeping Toms.

My young niece (19) and her roommate her having difficulties with a peeping tom a few years ago. It really freaked them out, but the police actually finally caught the guy. YEA!

Sounds like you guys are going to be just fine with all of your precautions. I'm sure he'll just move on now that he knows he's busted...

Holy crap, that is scary!!
After I got divorced someone tried to break in while it was just the kids and I home. Scared the bleep out of me. I understand why Lu is tossing and turning. Took me weeks to sleep normal again.
Good for you for being cautious.
