stressing out

hi everybody, i am stressing out, i have a in home daycare which i love but as of now i do not have a consistant amount of people and money is wearing thin, dh is getting worried and with us going through the adoption process that is more money that we need right now, i dont know what to do and i have done about all i can do in advertising so i am a mess right now, i feel bad because i know it is my fault things are tight right now, but i feel like and i doing all i can. i hate that money is such a HUGE thing in life. If anyone has any advice please let me know, or if you know anyone in the lorain county ohio area and they need daycare for their children give them my name (lol).

Erin, I'm sorry things are so rough right now.

I know of plenty of people who sell on ebay or do little fundraisers to help with the cost. I would also go to the dave thomas foundation website and see about get a packet that maybe dh could present to his work for a adoption credit. I know it sounds crazy but it does not hurt to ask, I mean the worst that happens is they say no but are more informed about adoption and its cost.

A loan is also an option I think Bank of America offers a special adoption loan rate and when your taxes came in maybe you could pay it back then. These are just thoughts. Is there any possibility of working at a local daycare instead of in the home?

Keep your chin up you know when you really want something somehow it just all ends up working out.

Oh Erin! I hate that things are so stressful for you right now. My DH is always stressing about money as well for the adoption, but everything seems to work itself out.

I promise, it will all come together. Sometimes though it feels like you just keep getting kicked again and again doesn't it.

I'll keep my ears open here in MN for anyone who needs daycare in OH!

I wish this wasn't such a difficult process! The money thing was always a problem for DH and me. It took us years and years to fund our IVFs.

I hope you can get some solid clients for your daycare!
