What kind of adoption you are doing? We are just thinking about it, too....just recently had a m/c but are ready for a different path on this crazy journey. All the choices and information re: adoption is really overwhelming....just trying to enjoy the break for the moment. I know we'll need strength if we decide to pursue this option!

How far along are you? We are doing a major remodel on our house right now and once that is finsihed we will start the paperchase. Hopefully getting the adoption process started in August. I was told by my agency we couldn't start paper work until the house was closer to being finished for our homestudy. So I am in limbo once again.

How far along are you? We have been homestudy ready since May and in our agency book since October. We are also investigating other options such as hiring an attorney, using a referral service and also have a friend who has offered to be a surrogate.

We are home study approved and ready. We have had two failed matches, and are currently on our third match.. hopefully this is the one!

Anything else you want to add would be great.
We are talking to an incredible young lady right now who is looking to place for adoption. She is due next month and we're hoping and praying that this is the "one" because this is just amazing. She is just a real role model and sweetheart and so intelligent. I am so happy to have met her and hope to have a great relationship with her through the childs life if that is what she wants too. If not, I am happy to just tell the baby what a wonderful woman she is!

How far along are you? We are one month into the process. We just got our homestudy draft and our sw is sending it in to USCIS once it is notorized and certified. We will be starting to gather our Dossier documents in about a week.

What kind of adoption you are doing? We are doing the fost/adopt program through our state. We are now waiting for a new baby.

How far along are you? We are transitioning our 15 month old foster baby to her aunt. She will be leaving us in less than a week.

We are also seriously considering DEIVF again.

I have a terrific four-year-old DD from a DEIVF. Her name is Avery Faith.

It is STILL my goal to have a houseful of kids and with the grace of God, I may have that yet!
