So what do you think this means???

Yesterday my agency asked that all it's waiting Vietnam families put together a photo album of family and pictures of us doing activities that we enjoy to be sent over to Vietnam along with a letter telling about us and why we want to adopt.

I find this a little odd. Lu thinks they are doing this because the orphanage we are working with keeps placing kids with France and not the US and they are trying to show how wonderful our waiting families really are. Do you think I am reading into this to much?

The other thing is, the agency normally would send out updates saying we have three possible children or something along those lines and they haven't said anything about any children almost being ready for referral. Is it secrecy or no children?

Ahh, the life of trying to read between the lines...

Wow....I don't know what to think. I just saw something on another adoption board regarding changes coming in Vietnam adoptions in September. I thought of you right away.

I am sure it is a goodwill measure so that more referrals come the US's way.

Yeah I am beyond nervous with all the changes coming to Vietnam, I just hope and pray that we have a referral and are home safe and sound come September.

I sure hope you are home and through with your process as well. From what I read it was the people who aren't "logged in" yet that needed to worry. Or did I misunderstand that?

Well they say it is the people not logged in yet but really you just never know for sure. Hopefully that is the case but I just can't trust, I mean when i started this they told me we would have a referral and back home in 6 months and we are a year later now.

This waiting and not knowing stuff is just so freaking HARD! I don't have the foggiest idea of what they mean by asking for the extra info, but maybe it's just a really good thing.

Maybe they just want to place referrals to pictures too and not just paper. Sounds like a good idea in theory.....hope this isn't a setback....it can't be!

Chrissy, Maybe your onto something there and really I love the idea if that is the case and who knows maybe it will go to the orphanage and the babies can look at the pictures while they wait for their new parents to come and get them...
