I haven't posted much in here for the last year or so cause there just wasn't much to say. Finally now, I can announce that our adoption is final.
Last friday we went before the judge and had her finalize the adoption of our Darling Kira Jade whom we have had since she was 7 days old. I picked her up from the hospital myself when she was just a tiny little thing!
Now just 2 weeks shy of 2 years later............she is finally ours!
Our adoption wasn't planned. We were fostering her and when we heard she was going up for adoption we said we wanted to adopt her. The process, while long, was very smooth and worry free. Which we are grateful for
We're still fostering. But we're not planning on adopting again.....of course you never know.

Congratulations on finally getting to adoption. We had a wild ride our first foster trip journey and lost our fost/adopt baby to family, but we are now in our second journey and are foster/adopting our first foster baby's little sister.
