Seriously, how many roadblocks can be thrown my way?????

My DH and I are starting to wonder if this isn't really meant to happen!

We recieved our paperwork for our Home Study agency and while most of it is right, there is one piece that comes from the state that is dated a year ago. Since I work on a weekly basis with this agency I called and asked how often they send out these letters stating agencies are accredidted. She said every 2 years or if they lose there accredidation with the state.
My referral agency wants a letter dated 2008. I asked if that was possible to DHS and she said sure, but it will take 6-8 weeks.

COME ON!

I seriously doubt that this will ever happen. By the time we get that piece of paperwork we will have to redo others because our 90 days will be up.

I have a call into both agencies to say WTF, but I am sure it will get me no where.

No paper pregnant for me today, if ever.

Man that just stinks to high heaven! I don't understand why anything that goes on a piece of paper would take 6 weeks. I say throw the tears on when you call, sometimes that helps get a fire under peoples butts.

I mean really if they want a letter saying an agency is accreditted that is just incredably dumb you can go right to the gov web site and see which agencies are accredited.

Don't give up honey, really adoption is not easy, I remember when we first started and I just cried and cried thinking this way will never work but there are plenty of successful stories out there we just have to remain committed.

Hang in there. Hang in there. Hang in there. I say you are being held up because "your" baby is just not here yet.

I know how you feel. As much as I hate saying this (and having it said to me) Everything happens for a reason. My husband and I have hit every road block on our journey for our daughter. Right now, the lovely wait and renewing all of our paperwork.
