For us, after they reviewed our application and other document they called us to set up our first homestudy interview. We did 3 different interviews, jointly, separately and one at the house.

You'll be rolling along in no time. I imagine they will set up an appointment for the homestudy right away. In the mean time if your anything like me you can start pulling together documents that they will want to see you can usually get that information from the website under the program you plan on doing.

In my domestic adoption experience we had to do 10 hours of classes before the homestudy was started. But, it sounds like most other people just start the homestudy.
Hope it goes by quickly for you. Get ready for a TON of paperwork.

No, they gave me a checklist with my application and I sent back what was on that first part. Nothing about taking any classes though!
