So, here we are home from vacation. My SW was supposed to have the homestudy DONE and mailed to us by the time I got back so I could get it notorized and sent to the Guatemala Consulate.
Well......nothing. Not an email not anything. I emailed her this AM telling her I was heading to the cities at 1:00 and I would be happy to pick it up. Nothing. No email reply. I know she got it and opened it.
So.......another delay. Seems to be the story of my life. I am so on top of everything, only to have her screw it up.

Doesn't she realize how important this is to you? How frustrated.

Hugs - we went through the same thing with our SW 8 weeks later the excuses finally ended and finally got done. I now we weren't her favorite couple by that time. Really don't they realize if you got all your stuff in by their deadlines and they are the ones telling you it will be done by a certain date that you are expecting it one that date.

I'm guessing her not answering you means its not done yet! Hope it happens soon for you!

I know its hard when you have no control over these situations.

It's just not fair!! AND unprofessional! People who want to adopt have had more than their share of unfairness and waiting in life as it is. Sheesh!

GRRR!! I can't stand when they avoid your phone call until they finish what they need to do. I mean realy just pick the phone up and say something came up, or I'm a slacker and didn't get it done yet.

I hope they get on the ball real soon and get that paperwork done for you.

On a brighter note! How was vacation?

Thanks ladies. I am still pretty frustrated with them. She did email a "proof" of our homestudy today. I reviewed it and sent back 23 corrections. She even mispelled my husbands middle name...LOL! She said that once all the correct people look at it and then they get it notorized, she will have me come get it. Oh...and their office is closed next week. NICE. It will be the end of July by the time all this gets done and then guess what. Our birth certificates were ordered when we started the homestudy process so in order for everything to be within a 2 month time frame we will have to REORDER or birth certificates because they are so slow.
I just want to cry. Our SW said that this is the only part that we have control over in the process so take it. Well crap, I did, and now they have all of it again.
Sorry for being so crabby ladies. I just feel like I get kicked over and over again sometimes. Lately I have been asking my DH to try and get pregnant again. I figure if I try enough one of the pregnancies will take right?? I am sure that is just frustration talking.
Vacation was eh. Not so much of a vacation but a really poorly planned family wedding where lots of feelings were hurt. But I can say I have seen St. Louis I guess.
