Default Personal question (ot)

DH and I have been arguing about whether a man and a woman can be "just friends." He says no and I say absolutely they can. And he says that it's "inappropriate" for someone to have a good friend of the opposite sex when they are involved or married.

I'd love to hear what you all have to say on the subject. I'm also going to add a poll so you can add your confidentially if you'd like. What have your experiences been with this?

I say other. I have a friend that I've known since childhood who is also one of DH's best friends, we do tons of stuff together without DH and it's fine. Some other friends, well, you never know.....I can't trust any of our female friends alone with DH. (well one but she's more interested in my female neighbor so I know she won't be making any passes at him!)

I say yes, you can be friends but I do hold the right to object to certain people.
Now if L was answering this, L would say no, any eye contact has potential....blah, blah, blah

I say for gals is easier to respect the boundaries, but guys have more problems with some boundaries...so my answer is NO for the male side!
