I'm gonna be taking pictures for the holiday card today so I'll need some input once I upload the pictures.

Ok I just have this one funny story. Lu and I try very hard to politically correct when it comes to holidays because we have some many friends that celebrate different things. Well this weekend we are doing our shopping and we celebrate christmas in our home and we found this nice table runner with santas face on it. So Lu turns to me and was like can we buy this will it offend anyone. I just started cracking up and she says sometimes I forget what we are. I was

It is so true though we try to aknowledge all of the holidays our friends celebrate and in the process we forgot who we are so, we bought the runner and it was put out right away.

Do you ever feel like this?

Kristine, I'm so glad you went ahead and bought the runner! After all you do have your own Christmas traditions and that should never stop you from celebrating them just because it might offend someone else. I have a couple of people who have told me I go crazy with decorations and etc... but I really don't care, this is something I love doing and look forward to doing every year. I've gotten into the habit of just smiling and say I can't help it I

Christmas, maybe when you have your own house you can invite me over and I'll help you decorate.

Thanks Ruby, You know it was just the silliest thing really.

This year we have under decorated for christmas I just feel like once that baby gets here I will go wild so i gave myself a year off ,since for the next 18 years I'll be going over board again. hahaha

So I might have to redo the pictures onces L gets home because the dogs did not really want to be a part of this stuff. let me know your thoughts.

They are adorable my dogs would never sit looking that pretty with headbands on- Jadon is complaining because we haven't decorated yet! I feel like a chicken with my head cut off lately! I keep promising the upcoming weekend - feel like taking a trip out to NM to help a Christmas celebrating girl that doesn't seem to have time? I just finally updated my siggie to include Jarrett poor other kids aren't getting many pictures taken these days - I did get his birth annoucement out and trying desperately to get the xmas newsletter done let alone get a decent picture to send of all. . .

Don't worry about offending people in your own home! Deck the Halls all you want - if they are offending by your beliefs then they don't need to come over! Honestly, are they that great of friends if they won't let you be true to yourself. Society has gotten a little too hyper-sensitive! Can't we all play nice in the sandbox and accept that everybody is unique and thats what makes us special. I think we all need to go back to kindergarten to remember what we were taught! (Not saying you have friends like that - just if one was offended by a Santa Claus table runner)

First, I love your new siggy Jenn! What fun! I personally don't know how you get anything done.

Kristine, the pics of the dogs are just too stinking cute. I pick #2. I just don't know how the heck you get those two to sit and stay like that. Amazing.

And I personally say, celebrate Christmas if that is what you celebrate! Celebrate something else if that is what you celebrate. And then be happy for everyone that they have something to celebrate. But, that's just my thoughts. I'm not exactly the most PC of people.

Marian, your is to cute! I love the dresses the girls are wearing.

The dogs, well they growled a little at me, but luck for me the black dog is a chicken so whenever I put stuff on her she freezes like if she moves there will be some big boom!!!

I love #2!!! and celebrate Christmas the way that you want, it is nice to think about friends but it is your house and traditions so do as you please
