Not sure what to think

So we always correspond with our social worker via email as that is easiest since I work all day and dh is a farmer and not by a phone most of the day. Usually if the social worker has a question about a situaiton she will email, she also emails us to tell us when our profile is being shown. Well I get home from work and she left a message on our machine saying to call as she wants to discuss something with us. Well the agency was closed by the time I got home so I have to call tomorrow, I know it's probably no big deal but I just keep wondeirng why she called instead of emailing like she usually does. Hmmmm.

Maybe something as simple as their email system was down . . . Hope its all good. Keep us updated! Hope your night goes quickly and you get in touch with the social worker first thing in the morning!

Sorry I have been MIA. BUT you want to know what the phone call was about?? The only thing she was calling was to tell me she will be on maternity leave and wanted to give me contact names while she is gone for 3 months. It would have been nice to know this earlier, it would have been nice if she had stated this in her message and I didn't have to worry ALL NIGHT LONG and then it's nothing like we thought it would be. She emails everything else why couldn't she email this. I was so heartbroken. I'm over it now, maybe a change in social worker will be good.

Sorry you went through all of this!
The family from my church who is kind of "mentoring" me on this process jokes about making me a list of thinks NOT to do as a social worker...and notifying parents of something JUST before it happens is at the top of the list!
So distressing...
