They chose the other couple. It is okay. I am busy working on Russia paperwork this afternoon.

I'm so sorry. I know how it feels to be turned down. You'll get your baby whether it's domestic or Russian, there's a child out there somewhere. Keep your chin up. It will happen when you least expect it and I believe in that because that's how it happened with us. I was at a low point and we got that call.

Nicole, I'm sorry to hear they did not pick you guys but I am so glad to hear you are moving onto Russia. Your baby will be home before you know it!!!

Stay strong, some day this will all be a distant memory. (atleast that is what I tell myself)

To be quite honest, I am really not that bummed. I am so excited to get back on the international adoption train as is my DH. I have most of our stuff ordered for our dossier so that is becoming my focus.

We officially pulled out of our IOA book at our agency which feels GREAT! It was never really for us and we know that now. Our agency is going to let us use all monies paid towards redoing the homestudy and post placement. So no money out of our pocket.

Back to work.
