No babies....

Well Lu calls the agency like every other friday to get an update but this week we called on a wednesday because I saw a news clip talking about thousands of adoptions not going through internationally which sent me into a tail spin. The agency advised they are talking about Guatemala adoptions (all i can say is those poor families, my heart goes out to them)

But then the director said, Vietnam could be facing some changes in January of 2008 but she wasn't sure yet and right now there are no babies at the orphanges they work with. I mean I guess that is really great but man, oh man can we please get some babies soon. I am just going crazy over here as I wait.

Last year at this time we totally thought we would have brought a baby home by now so we had little halloween footies and bibs and when i pulled out all our halloween decorations it just made me so sad to see that we can't use them once again.

So that is our little update...No babies at this time.

What a bummer!!!

That has to be frustrating. You were so close to the top of the list for a while right?

I hear you about Guatemala. For a while I didn't understand why they wouldn't give us a referral since they had just given one out 2 days before, but now we are SO thankful. I don't know if any of the people that got their referrals will be able to bring those children home.

Yeah we are like #1 for the boy list and #3 for the girl list---we are so close but yet so far away.

Oh - I hit enter to fast...

I was reading alot of the Gautemala families won't be able to bring their babies home, it is just so sad.

Nicole, I hate to say it but I am very glad you didn't get a referral, I can't even begin to imagine seeing this babies face and then not being able to bring them home.

Okay I know I made a post but it's gone. I wanted to say I know how you feel. On one hand it's good that there aren't many in the orphanages but on the other hand you want your baby. Hang in there, you'll get your miracle soon.

I'm with Amber.... my post is MIA. But, that's true about all of my posts on all of my boards. EEEEEK!

So, I'll just say, that I have a feeling that your baby is coming soon! I know the waiting is just killer, but it will be so worth it you will forget about the wait the second you meet him/her. Believe me.
