I see some familiar faces.
I just had my ds AJ 12-14-2007, which was followed by a post partum hemmorage that required 12 blood transfusions and the removal of my uterus. AJ is still young, but I know in my heart I am not done with the years". I want to add to our family. I always said I wanted 5 or 6 kids. So I am here now to explore my options and get input.

I would love to adopt and foster!!!!
I so would love to give a child my love that is in need of it

I am excited that you are interested in fostering and adopting. I think you are a wonderful mom and some little person is going to be really lucky to find you.

Are you thinking of getting started right away? Art and I were actually talking about our next baby at dinner tonight. He seems to think he wants five or six kids too! I'm a little bit afraid of pursuing another child right away just in case Lilly and Olivia's bmom ends up pregnant again. (did that make sense?) But, I just wanted to say that I totally understand your wanting a boatload of kids. If I'd have been a fertile, I'd have 'em already!

This is a great board. We're not big in numbers but we're really strong in love and support. Jump in anywhere and everywhere. We're glad you're here.

Welcome!!! I am glad to hear your interested in exploring the foster/adoption world. I know these little ones start of by needing us but in the end I think they end up being the greatest gifts to our families.

I think you'll like it here the ladies are great and our foster/adopt moms are full of knowledge!!!

Thank you all for the warm Hello's.
I have inquired and awaitimng a call back to schedule classes. Before you can even move forth you have to take certain classes, well that is how I understood what they said to me. It would be good, because fomr what I read it would take several month (about 6 months) for placement from the time I start. That would give me time to situate things. So that is my update.

How are you doing? How was the kiddos First Communion?....I am glad to share this new journey with you. We are a small group in here but we a big !!!

Yeap, it can take a long time from where you started to a placement. It depends in how fast your agency moves. We started back in November and I believe that we will be ready fpr placement by the end of summer
