ok - I admit I have become a pretty avid country fan since moving from the frozen tundra - but this song is singing my head on repeat (Billy Currington). With all the stress that many of us are under I thought I would start this thread for everyone to remember what they done right lately!
I'll start
My oldest foster son (former) D - for lack of the PB - made a point of telling his mom that he needed to get a hold of ME - to wish Me a Happy's Mother's Day! Apparently so adament that I got the message!!!! I guess I did make a positive impact on that little 6 year old!!!
Very good to remember when I'm feeling like the system has failed these little ones!

That is terrific Miss Jenn! That has to bring some reconciliation to your heart too. I'm so glad.
Something I've done right lately. I've made my marriage my priority and it seems to be working. Last night DH came home from a meeting at church and told me that he knew that I was the love of his life and that being with me for the rest of his life was the purpose in his life.

Jenn, I always knew you were doing something right for that boy.
Marian, I am so happy to hear you and DH are really working things out, I love to hear when the core of the family is staying strong.
For me, what am I doing right. Hmm this is hard for me right now since I feel like I live in a daze these days. L told me I make her life better and that she couldn't imagine going through all this "stuff" with anyone other then me at her side.
I felt pretty good about that since we have had alot of tension in the house from all the stress and it just warmed my heart to know she still enjoys having me around as much as I enjoy having her around.
