Still no word yet, they probably haven't gotten all the info from the clinic yet on bmom. As far as time frame goes, are you meaning if this placement would take place??? Or do you mean domestic adoption in general? We were told the average wait for a baby is about a year. Sometimes it's less sometimes it's more. If we would be selected for this baby, the baby is duein July but could go earlier so more than likely we would take the baby home from the hospital after the TPR is signed. After TPR is signed for the state the baby is born in, the bmom has 5 days to change her mind, after that the baby would be ours but official adoption could not take place until baby is at least 6 months old. But we aren't getting our hopes up as 2 other families will be shown, and maybe there will be something in her medical history that we will decide not to show our profile. I will keep you updated though! Thanks for the prayers!
