Just checking in to see how it went with Lilly? Is the aunt gone, just thought I'd let you know that I'm still ing for you & your family!

Oh thank you Ruby! Yes, we lived through the weekend! In some ways it was one of the toughest things I've done in a long time and in other ways it turned out to be a really important weekend. I think the aunt was able to see just how much a part of our family Lilly really is. She was able to see how important she is to us and we to her.

I know that she will not resent us if the baby comes and lives with us. I know that she will not give up trying to get her, but she is good with us being the family for Lilly to grow up with, if she is not.

For some reason that seemed really important to me.

Now I am just counting down the days until Nov 6. Please keep praying! We need the judge to clearly see that Lilly wants to live here with us.

I can totally understand why that was so important for you. Girl that was a huge weekend and I think it helped find some sort of peace for everyone. I will still pray for you and your family because I do whole heartidly(spelled wrong) believe your family is best for Lilly.
