It appears that my 3 kiddos will be returned to their parents sometime in March! Apparently there will only be a 2 week transition period. When they are returned they will still be in State custody for about 6 months - to make sure the parents are doing well. At that time perm. custody will be determined. However, even if they aren't doing well :we won't know about it unless they physically remove the kids again as it violates privacy. My heart is breaking especially for my twinfants! They are losing the only parents they have ever known. Of course knowing that once they leave I will probably never hear from them is almost more than I can bear! My faith is really being tested here - that I have to believe that whatever happens is for the best and that their almost year with me made a positive impact on their lives. Please tell me that this wasn't all for nothing! :

Jenn, March is going to be a hard month for you and I! And no it wasn't all for nothing, you were a mother to those kiddos when they needed it the most. It's just hard for us to see it at times because we them so much, I'm here if you need to talk! It's also sad that bio. mom had so much hate towards you too, you were the only mom the twins knew and she has no idea how much it would benefit those little ones to keep you in there lives! If you don't mind me asking, is there a possibility you might run into the kids someday? Or do they live in another city/town from you?

Jenn, I can assure you this is not for nothing!! You gave those kids a great first year and the older brother got to see what a normal family is and really got to feel love.

I hate that this happens. My heart is aching for you. I know exactly how awful it is.

No matter what bmom thinks, you have given those kids huge gifts that will last a lifetime.

I know that the Lord has those children in his arms. (The Sovereign Lord...will feed His flock like a shepherd. He will carry the lambs in His arms, holding them close to His heart. Psalm 40:10-11) I don't know the reason this is happening, but I do know there is a reason. There is always a bigger picture of which we can only see a small part. I know in my case, with Lilly, God has given me another child to love that needs me even more than her sister did. For me, now, that is enough. I trust that Lilly is in the right place and so is Olivia.

I hope God can bring healing and peace to your heart soon. May these precious babies stay safe and healthy.

I am so sorry! I cannot imagine what you are going through. I give you, Marian & Ruby so much credit for fostering. I just don't think I'd have the courage or the strength. You are very special women. Please don't doubt that taking those children was the right thing. You have given those children a loving & caring home. We can only hope & pray that their birth parents can continue what you started!

Thanks for all the words of support - I don't know what I would do without you. I couldn't concentrate on work today so I made myself a fancier siggie and starting to collect picture for a video picture montage - I will give them a copy and keep a copy for us. I have all sort of ideas rolling around in my head! Hopefully I can share with you girls - my editing team!

I know that they have a guardian angel watching over them - after all they bought to us not once but twice and who knows maybe there will be a third . . .
