Just updating---- O/T

Well not much going on as far as the adoption goes although we are nearing the one year mark that we actually started the paperwork and homestudy stuff. I am hoping we get a referral soon because this waiting is just getting so old for us.

This weekend we did a little 4 day weekend at the beach and the weather was just perfect. It was so nice down there we did some shopping at the outlets which was great. We got new dishes, they had a sale buy one piece at 50% off get the second piece free so we got like 100 pieces for about 50 bucks.

We also got a new tv for the bedroom ours is on the brinks so we got a flat screen. So excited about that it weighs like 15 lbs compared to the 75 lb one I have to get down of the dresser.

give me strength for that.

Last night we got home and let the dogs outback to do their business and one of them found a dead bat and brought it up to the back door step. TOALLY freaked me out!!! I swear, why so animals do that?

Today I have so much to do, between unpacking, getting the final touches done for this silent auction and going grocery shopping. Oy Vey!!! Somedays are just a jam packed and here I sit procrastinating.

Busy is always beter than tapping your fingers with nothing to do. I hope the time goes fast and soon you will be holding your little one(s). Anything to update on your donor sperm - whether you are going to give that option another whirl as well?

Oh yes, the donor sperm. I forgot to update because this all went down when I was off line because of the computer.

Well I gave it two months of trying and it failed. I did natural cycle because the first time I got PG it was on a natural cycle but this time it just didn't work. I am glad I tried so I could say I tried but at the same time it brought back some of those angry infertile feelings. So I am working through that but at the end of the day I am really ok with it.

The first month I did one IUI with prometrium for the two weeks and the second cycle I did two IUI's with prometrium three times a day and baby aspirin- it did nothing. I know for sure it is totally my body causing the problems my donor has wonderful counts but my eggs stink!!!!

Waiting sucks, doesn't it. Now that we have everything all done and turned in we are in a wait until the phone rings mode as well.
I told my DH we better schedule a vacation because as soon as we do we will get matched...LOL!

I know how hard it is to be mad at your eggs. It is good you gave it the try so that you can say did it. I always thought maybe I should try one more time, but I don't know if my heart could take it.

I am going to start cleaning house and ebaying stuff to keep busy. Won't make much money, but it is time to start clearing out my purses.

K, It sounds like you always have such interesting things to do though while you are waiting. That's a good thing!
